Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE have announced that Eid al-Fitr in these countries will be celebrated on July 6. Authorities made the announcement on Monday evening after failing to sight the new moon.
According to Moonsighting.com, the New Moon might be seen thru a powerful telescope in South America. There is no indication that the new moon will be seen over North America tonight.
Therefore, Wednesday July 6th appears to be the likely Eid day for us and Allah knows best.
